Feather 4 Arrow is adding even more vibe to their new collection with a collaboration from the internationally recognized surf artist, Matthew Allen. Allen and the Southern California-based children’s lifestyle brand share a love for beach life and it shows in every piece of this new Resort and Spring 2023 collection. From the vibrant color combinations to the re-worked favorites of Allen’s artwork, the collection is loaded with exclusive graphics and exciting print designs. The Feather 4 Arrow x Matthew Allen Collection will include Feather 4 Arrow’s signature vintage tees, hats, and their best-selling ‘upcycled’ and ‘recycled’ UPF50+ swimwear for boys. Launching nationally to wholesale buyers on July 16th at the internationally acclaimed SWIM Show in Miami, FL.

The Feather 4 Arrow x Matthew Allen collaboration includes Allen’s renowned surf style art and the many influences that have defined his world. His take on graphics and his unique color combinations bring a sense of playfulness to the continually well-made, tailored separates, vintage t-shirts, and award-winning UPF50+ swimwear of Feather 4 Arrow. One of Allen’s favorite graphics is “I SURF SMALL WAVES” which he feels resonates with so many folks, young and old. Allen says “There is often a lot of hubris associated with surfing, and riding bigger and more dangerous waves is glamorized, but surfing is often the most fun when the waves are approachable”.

This marks the first time that Feather 4 Arrow has offered a collaborative collection but Matthew is no stranger to creating custom art for brands like Condé Nast, Converse, Pottery Barn, Ron Herman, and many more. Like much of his artwork, this collection celebrates his love of the beach and the culture that comes along with it. “The beach is a place for play and the idea of play is woven into this collection and much of my work”. In creating for Feather 4 Arrow, I wanted to make the art fun. I tried to imagine what a kid would be excited to wear and followed that thread.”

Feather 4 Arrow Founder/Designer, Jaime Reise bought her first piece of Matthew Allen art at the Greenroom in Waikiki 5 years ago for her son and has been a fan ever since. “I was finally able to meet Allen a year ago and approached him with the idea of doing a collaboration. I felt his surfy vibe would be a great compliment to our brand. I am thrilled with how this collection turned out and how we were able to create fun, wearable pieces of art.”

Making waves and making history, this collection is a high-quality and comfortable canvas for Matt Allen’s coveted work. It is an open invitation to have a little fun all while looking and feeling good.

Feather 4 Arrow’s label is acclaimed for the strength of its vision and for bringing an innovative freshness to the market. Their collections are curated from the highest quality of Premium, Up-Cycled, Re-Cycled, and UPF50+ Sun Protective fabrics to align with our ever-changing world. Both free-spirited and chic, their collections are comfortable, carefree, well thought out, and are designed to withstand wear and tear without sacrificing quality and comfort.
